Existing Projects & Collections to use for Inspiration
Confluence Community has developed several initiatives and collections that you can explore for inspiration. These include:
The Basic Bee Collection: A community-driven ecommerce initiative that includes educational content, and products aimed to raise awareness about bees, conscious consumerism, and support sustainable practices. We would love to collaborate with artists to create more designs and product lines, support local sustainable print-on-demand businesses, foster relationships with organizations that help essential pollinators, give back to bees, and so much more! We have a Brand Ambassador program ready to go for encouraging others to share these products, information, photos, and ideas for cultivating a community of bee lovers on a mission to plant seeds of change.
The Garden District Collection: A neighborhood-focused initiative that helps utilize green spaces in neighborhoods and public areas to make them more beneficial for both people and pollinators. Advocating for sustainable gardening practices, and community engagement through hands-on gardening experiences and community events. We would love to see a Garden District in your neighborhood, and encourage people to spread the word about the importance of wildlife habitats, native plants, and sustainable gardening practices. Wherever you live, you can advocate for more connected and eco-conscious communities!
The Mini Collection: A curated framework of smaller projects and collaborations designed to have a big impact on a small scale. The Mini Collection helps local markets, vendors, photographers, designers, and community event planners, by providing essential tools and resources that enable them to build meaningful connections, learn from each other, and grow more intentionally. We offer affordable branding, administrative and technical support, efficient systems and processes, and other useful tools to set them up for success. We would love to build a collaborative team of photographers and designers, help local market hosts improve their vendor sign up processes, and create a supportive network of mentorship and collaborative learning. We can all work together to use our strengths to combine resources and reduce the workload for community organized initiatives.
Important Note
At Confluence Community, our primary focus is on building community rather than solely focusing on generating profits. However, it is part of our mission to create economic opportunities and careers for all those involved. Our structure is designed to empower individuals to develop revenue-generating opportunities with the support of Confluence Community's network.
If a project or proposal involves financial contributions or revenue-generating potential, the next steps—after evaluating the viability of the proposal—will include discussing and negotiating a fair compensation strategy. This ensures that those who contribute to building these community partnerships are supported and compensated. We operate on the principle that what you put in is, ideally, what you get out.
Thank you so much for joining us, and working together to discover unique ways that we can collaborate, learn, and support local businesses, initiatives, and projects.
