Project Action Team
Role Overview: The Project Action Team plays a vital role in supporting the successful completion of individual projects within the Duclay Forest Garden District. Each team is made up of dedicated ambassadors who bring a variety of skills and expertise to ensure each project is executed efficiently and effectively. The team collaborates closely with the Project Leader to carry out the tasks necessary to achieve the project's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Task Execution: Carry out specific tasks as directed by the Project Leader, ensuring that each aspect of the project is completed on time and to a high standard.
Skill Contribution: Bring individual skills and expertise to the project, whether in gardening, construction, communication, education, or other relevant areas.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to solve problems, share ideas, and ensure smooth project execution.
Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to take on various roles as needed to support the project’s success.
Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions for improving processes, tools, and approaches to enhance project outcomes.
Possible Roles within the Project Action Team:
Gardeners: Focus on planting, maintaining, and harvesting within the project area, ensuring the health and vitality of the garden.
Builders: Assist with construction or installation tasks, such as building garden beds, installing water features, or constructing wildlife habitats.
Educators: Help with educational outreach, teaching community members about the project, its goals, and how they can get involved.
Communicators: Handle communication tasks, such as social media updates, community newsletters, and coordinating with local organizations.
Event Coordinators: Plan and organize events related to the project, including ambassador days, workshops, or community gatherings.
Researchers: Conduct research to support the project, such as identifying the best plants for the garden or gathering data on local wildlife.
